APPLIANCES
Clear, easy instructions to help you use the home’s appliances safely and efficiently, so everything runs smoothly throughout your stay.
Coffee Machine
-
The Jura coffee machine uses either beans or ground coffee.
-
Coffee beans go in the receptacle on the right-hand side while ground coffee goes in the receptacle on top.
-
The water receptacle is on the left. Please do not fill above the Max limit line.
-
Once the machine is on, press the rinse button (button with dots in a triangle pattern). The machine will be rinsed, and water will drip into the tray.
-
Push the coffee cup button to get your filtered coffee. The machine offers 3 strengths. Push once for mild, twice for medium and three times for strong coffee.
-
Once “Empty Tray” appears on the screen, remove the tray, throw the coffee grounds in the bin, rinse the tray and return.
Washing Machine
-
To load soap and softener, pull out the tray on the left-hand side. Fill receptacle 1 with liquid washing soap and receptacle 2 with fabric softener. Do not fill above the Max line.
-
The machine will automatically weigh the washing and dispense the appropriate amount of liquid and softener.
-
When either the washing liquid or softener are empty, the icon next to the appropriate number will flash. Refill accordingly.
Tumble Dryer
-
The tumble dryer does not vent outward. The water is collected in the receptacle on the left.
-
After each use, please remove and empty the water collected during the drying cycle.
-
Please clean out the fluff basket after each use.
Dishwasher
-
The dishwasher has a touch screen to operate it.
-
Once full, please use the 1hr cycle.
-
Please do not put any plastic lids or Carol Boyes items in the dishwasher.
-
Carol Boyes uses pewter to make functional household items. If you are not sure, her mark is on each of her items.
Microwave Oven
Please do not put any plastic into the microwave as this damages the plastic.
